Smethwick ChangeSpaces is a coworking office based in the old vestry chapel of Holy Trinity Church (just off the Smethwick High Street).
For those who've never heard of coworking, it is what it sounds like - individuals working separately, together in the same space! Coworking can help to connect people, who might otherwise work alone, and open up possibilities to collaborate, share knowledge and experiences that can be useful learning for others.
We're a not-for-profit space specifically set up to encourage connections between small charities, community organisations (such as CICs), social enterprises as well as individuals who need a flexible working space at an affordable rate.
ChangeSpaces is no ordinary office space - we still get to enjoy many of the beautiful features of the old chapel plus we host opportunities to get to know each other with regular pot-luck lunches (or picnics on the grass outside when it's lovely and sunny).
It's easy to get here, being only a 5-minute walk from Smethwick Rolfe Street train station and 2-minutes from the high street where you can catch the 55, 87 or 89 bus, or there's plenty of local on-street parking nearby if you choose to drive.
We're as flexible as you need, users will have their own key, so if working at weekends or evenings works for you then we can also support this.
